Coimbatore: R. Pounraj, with 4.5 points from five rounds, topped the table in the open class in the district-level selection trials tournament here recently.
The top four finishers in the open and under-15 section will represent Coimbatore in the State FIDE-rated championship at Karaikudi (July 7 to 14) and the State under-15 championship at Chennai (June 29 to July 4) respectively.
