It was reported that Saif Ali Khan could not attend the recently concluded IIFA Awards 2009 at Macau in order to promote his home production “Love Aaj Kal” at the Twenty20 World Cup. However, sources said that Saif Ali Khan was shown the door by IIFA organizers, as they could not buy his demands.
Saif was supposed to perform and promote “Love Aaj Kal” at IIFA but his unreasonable demands angered the organizers of the event. He wanted an early exit from the event and demanded that he performed before Sonam Kapoor, which was unreasonable. He also told the organizers that he would go to a T20 match after the show which was granted.
However, his main intention was to attend a party which his friend from Hong Kong was throwing for him and ladylove Kareena Kapoor. It is said that IIFA organizers told him clearly to either attend his friend’s party or the event. Thus Saif walked out of the event.
