Praveen in as India opt to bat

Although the teams can't be sure - on the evidence of the first match - what a safe total at the Sabina Park would be, MS Dhoni chose to bat first for the second time in two matches.

Ishant Sharma, whose five overs went for 38 when India just about managed to defend 339 two days ago, missed out and Praveen Kumar came back into the XI. West Indies made one change, too, dropping Lionel Baker. He went for 62 in his nine overs. Ravi Rampaul took Baker's place.

In the first ODI, 658 runs were scored in less than 100 overs and the pitch was not expected to have changed drastically.

India: 1 Gautam Gambhir, 2 Dinesh Karthik, 3 Rohit Sharma, 4 Yuvraj Singh, 5 MS Dhoni (capt/wk), 6 Yusuf Pathan, 7 Ravindra Jadeja, 8 Harbhajan Singh, 9 Praveen Kumar, 10 RP Singh, 11 Ashish Nehra.

West Indies: 1 Chris Gayle (capt), 2 Runako Morton, 3 Ramnaresh Sarwan, 4 Shivnarine Chanderpaul, 5 Dwayne Bravo, 6 Darren Bravo, 7 Denesh Ramdin (wk), 8 Jerome Taylor, 9 David Bernard, 10 Suleiman Benn, 11 Ravi Rampaul.
