The 'King of Pop' Michael Jackson is all set to come back to life in a new video game.

The 'Thriller' singer will be the main character in the computer adventure, for which he had already recorded voice-over lines shortly before his death, Female First reported.

"I am sure it will still be released. Michael loved games," said a worker on the game which would be produced by singer's firm MJJ Productions.

It will not be the first time the 50-year-old star has appeared in a video game.

In 1990, the pop icon co-developed 'Michael Jackson's Moonwalker', which was playable in arcades and on home consoles and based on his 'Moonwalker' film.

The story follows Jackson as he uses various music and dance related abilities to defeat enemies while on a quest to save kidnapped children from the hands of the evil 'Mr Big'.

Some of his biggest hits, including 'Beat It' and 'Smooth Criminal', were incorporated into the game.
